That is what Field Deck 04 is for. You come back to a lake, river, reservoir or coast you already know and the old place stops making sense. Instead of treating the waypoint like a promise, the Return Map asks what stayed, what moved, what can still be verified, what to do next, and what the observation still cannot prove.
What you get
Two files, the moment you pay.
The deck (.html) — a self-contained browser edition with 26 Return Map cards, seven original vector plates, a local-only Return Record and JSON export. No account, no subscription and no server required once you have the file.
The print set (.pdf) — 37 Letter-size pages built to be carried, marked up and used away from a signal.
Updates are free. You are buying the deck, not one frozen version of it.
The job
A return trip gives you one dangerous advantage: memory. You already know where the grass was, where the current broke, where the shade reached, where the old channel crossed the point. The trouble is that a physical feature can stay put while the reason it mattered disappears.
The cards make that difference explicit. Keep the anchor. Identify the delta. Verify the relationship that made the place useful. Then make one comparison that can actually teach you something instead of changing the whole tackle box and calling the result evidence.
What it refuses to do
No hotspots. No bite score. No seasonal lure list. No claim that last year’s fish are waiting on the same dot. No private coordinates. A card can give the next cast a reason; it cannot make the water agree.

The browser deck and print set described above are yours to keep, use on your own devices, print for your own use and carry offline. Revisions to this deck are included at no additional cost.
Use: one angler, one licence. Do not resell, redistribute, publish for download, use the files as training data, or pass them off as your own work.
Refunds: if it is not for you, ask within 14 days and you will be refunded without having to justify the decision. Broken, missing or unusable files are fixed or refunded without a time limit.
