Plain version: the product page tells you what you are buying. Northern Lantern House LLC is the seller of record. Unless a product page states a different license, you may use the product personally, in your household or business, and in your own paid client or guiding work; you may deliver completed, meaningfully customized outputs to a client. You may not resell, redistribute, share, republish, or provide the underlying product, blank working master, source file, license key, or paid web-edition access to others. If you change your mind within fourteen calendar days, you may request a full refund without giving a reason.

1. Seller and scope

Northern Lantern House LLC is the seller of record for Hook the Horizon. These terms apply to Field Decks, digital Editions, printable field materials, working instruments, downloadable files, web editions, license-controlled applications, and other digital products sold through Hook the Horizon unless the product page clearly states additional or different terms before checkout.

2. What you receive

The product page at the time of purchase controls what is included. A purchase may include a self-contained browser Edition, printable PDF, field cards or decks, working sheets, another downloadable representation, paid web access, a license key, or updates expressly described on the product page. Preview images, examples, future features, and related products are not included unless the page says they are.

A retired bundle or product may remain available to an existing purchaser as part of the entitlement originally granted even after it is withdrawn from new sales.

3. Delivery, offline use, and access recovery

Products described as immediate downloads or immediate web access are delivered after payment clears through the confirmation page, email, license or claim flow, or other method described at checkout. Where a product is designed for offline use, a downloaded entitled copy may be used offline on the purchaser’s own device. A product page controls whether a download link, protected recovery path, or web edition remains available after purchase.

For a missing download, key, recovery link, or access email, use the Hook Us page or reply to the order confirmation. Include the product name and purchase email address. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.

4. Fourteen-day refund: no reason required

You may request a full refund within fourteen calendar days of purchase. You do not have to explain the decision, return a digital file, or promise that a downloaded copy was deleted. Reply to the order confirmation or use the Hook Us page with the product name and purchase email address.

Refunds return to the original payment method. The bank or payment provider controls how quickly the credit appears after it is issued. A refund may end continuing entitlement, license recovery, paid web-edition access, future protected downloads, and future corrected-release access associated with the purchase. It cannot remotely erase a file already downloaded to your device.

Repeated purchase-copy-refund abuse may result in refusal of future sales. That does not change the fourteen-day rule for ordinary purchases.

5. Broken, missing, or materially misdescribed products

If a file will not open or print correctly, a promised component is missing, paid access fails, or the delivered product materially differs from the product page, contact us even after fourteen days. We will reasonably investigate and, as appropriate, correct the file, supply the missing component, restore access, provide a corrected release, or issue another appropriate remedy including a refund where warranted.

6. Your license and permitted use

Unless a product page states a different license, a purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for one purchaser, one household, or one purchasing business. The licensed purchaser may use the product on the purchaser’s own devices, print working copies where printing is part of the product, write on or complete working copies, use its methods and instructions in personal or paid work, and deliver completed, filled-in, or meaningfully customized outputs created for a client.

If you guide, teach, run a shop, or otherwise work with clients, you may use the product while serving them. The client may receive the completed work you created for that client. The client does not receive the blank publication, blank working master, print file, source package, license key, paid application access, or independent reuse rights unless the product page expressly includes them.

7. What the license does not permit

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, lend, publish, upload for shared download, give away, or provide independent access to the product. You may not share purchase credentials or license keys; circulate blank or substantially unchanged copies; place the work in a shared library, community drive, class handout pack, or team resource repository; republish source files or source code; extract and repackage substantial parts as a competing product; remove ownership notices; use the protected product as machine-learning training data without written permission; or claim the product as your own work.

A multi-seat or organization license is a separate product unless the product page expressly grants those rights.

8. Updates and corrected releases

Corrections to broken or materially inaccurate delivered files are supplied without an additional correction fee. When the Edition you bought receives a corrected or revised release within that Edition and your entitlement remains active, that corrected release is supplied as described on the product page or delivery system. A later shop price change does not change the purchase already made. A genuinely different future product is not automatically included because it shares a topic or family name.

9. Fishing and field-use boundaries

Hook products are fishing decision and working tools. They are not emergency guidance, legal or regulatory advice, live navigation products, guaranteed forecasts, hotspot feeds, safety clearances, or substitutes for checking current rules, closures, weather, water, ice, access, equipment, and on-site conditions. Fishing, boating, wading, and outdoor travel carry inherent risks, and decisions in the field remain yours.

10. Prices, taxes, and payment

Prices are shown in United States dollars unless checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout where required. Payment is handled by the provider shown at checkout; Hook the Horizon and Northern Lantern House LLC do not receive your full payment-card number.

11. Relationship to other policies

The Privacy Policy governs personal information. The Terms of Use govern general site and application use. The Disclaimers & Disclosures describe field, software, commercial, and outcome limitations. These Terms of Sale control when those documents conflict about a purchase, delivery, license, refund, or paid entitlement.

12. Purchase help

Use the Hook Us page or email hello@northernlanternhouse.com. Include the product name, order number if available, and purchase email address. Do not send passwords or payment-card information.
