Description

Most of fishing is deciding where. These four editions take that decision from the first look at strange water to the twelfth visit to water you thought you knew.

They run in the order you meet the problem. A new water has to be cut down before the first cast means anything. A trip with several possible waters needs a choice you can defend against today’s facts. Familiar water drifts away from memory. And one water, visited properly for a season, teaches more than a dozen visited once.

What is in it

  • Field Deck 03: Water You Have Never Fished (26 cards, 45-page print set). Cut an unfamiliar water down until the first cast has a reason to exist.
  • Water Compare: The Dynamic Brief (14-page print edition). Compare up to three public waters for one real trip. Every fact carries an as-of date and a decay class, the brief re-reads itself against today’s clock each time you open it, and it is allowed to conclude there is no clean winner.
  • Field Deck 04: Reading One Water All Year (26 cards, 37-page print set). For familiar water that stopped matching memory: what stayed, what moved, what to verify, and what an observation still cannot prove.
  • One Water, Twelve Visits (13-page print edition). Eleven variables across twelve visits to one water, and an engine that finds the pairs differing in exactly one of them.

Format

Eight files. Each edition comes as a single self-contained web page that works with no signal once it is on your phone, and as a Letter print edition. Your records in Water Compare and One Water, Twelve Visits stay on your device, with a backup file you control.

Anglers who fish more than one water and want their choice of where to be something they could explain afterwards.

Who should not buy it

If you fish one water and already keep careful notes on it, One Water, Twelve Visits on its own may be all you need. None of these editions fetch live conditions or confirm access; they record what you checked and when, and access and regulations stay yours to check with your state agency.
