Description
The whole shelf. One way of fishing, worked out properly: change one thing, read what it did, and keep a record that tells you the truth next season.
Every edition here is sold on its own and stands on its own. Together they cover the ground an angler actually covers: learning the method, reading water, choosing where to go, finding the weak link, and keeping a record that stays honest about how old it is.
The course
- First 10 Trips: The Field Course (26-page print edition). Ten sessions, one job each, an explicit list of what you are deliberately not learning yet, and your own records turning into a Trip 11 brief.
The four Field Decks
- 01 What Changed (29 cards, 46 pages), 02 The Last Six Feet (28 cards, 52 pages), 03 Water You Have Never Fished (26 cards, 45 pages) and 04 Reading One Water All Year (26 cards, 37 pages). Cards for the situations that keep coming back.
The nine instruments
- Blank Day Autopsy: ten causes for a no-catch day, ten gates, and a verdict that is allowed to be that the day cannot be read.
- The Saltwater Go / No-Go: the kitchen-table decision before the drive, built by subtraction and allowed to tell you not to go.
- Water Compare: up to three waters for one trip, every fact dated, re-read against today’s clock.
- One Water, Twelve Visits: a season on one water, and the pairs of visits that differ in exactly one thing.
- One Fish, Ten Questions: a season-long method for learning one fish on your own water, with no species data at all.
- The Personal Field Book: a field book whose entries carry their source and age, so an old note stops looking like last week’s.
- The Tackle Box Audit: twelve jobs a box has to cover, and a verdict that is allowed to be buy nothing.
- The Knot Fault Atlas: twelve connections drawn right, holding and gone.
- Line Failure Lab: a break diagnosed from the physical end, with a bench test for each failure site.
Where to start
New to fishing deliberately: First 10 Trips. After a day that went nowhere: Blank Day Autopsy. Before a new water: Deck 03. Lost a good fish: Line Failure Lab and the Knot Fault Atlas. Everything else waits until you need it.
Format
Twenty-eight files: every edition as a single self-contained web page that works with no signal once it is on your phone, and as a Letter print edition. Records you keep stay on your device, with backup files you control.
